$78,000 and we still get EIC

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post
Since we're all getting our panties in a bunch. I thought I would rub it in that we got EIC this year and brought in over $78,000 for a family of 5.

A good portion of our income is nontaxable.

I think our definitions of "rich" and "great income" are vastly different. I live in an area with a cost of living substantially below the national average and that income would be enough to "make do" for a family of five.

I live in the good ole usa and 78,000 would be a great income where i live.

Quoting Anonymous: What third world country do you live in that $78,000 would make you rich?

Quoting ilovemykids323:

$78,000 would maek you rich were i live.

Quoting Anonymous: Rub it in that you don't make much? Okay...lol

okay great income is probably a better way to word it. Rich would be more like over 100,000 :). I know my DH and I would live pretty good off of that income.

Wow, I would be living the good life with $78,000 annually. I wouldn't even need EIC.
