I love my husband but I think he is to honest about something and I tell him you need a filter .
I had a drinking problem for a year while he was deployed and he says that drinking had aged me . It really hurt my feelings , he doesn't get that something you should just keep to yourself .

 awww thats not nice. but i would rather him be honest that not. he knows that. it would be like him letting you leave the house in leopard print pants... you wouldnt want him to let that happen.

There is honesty and there is tact and kindness. I think that honesty should always be balanced out by compassion. Just because you think something doesn't mean that you have to share it.

 He is tactful, but always truthful. Sometimes the truth hurts no matter how it's said.

That's how I feel . I didnt ask him how I looked we had been talking about something else . He has things about I wouldn't dare say .
