Have u ever had some wine while breast feeding? How long does it affect the breast milk? Would it be ok to have 4 oz of wine at night and pump and discard the milk in the morning (8 hrs) ?

There's no need to pump and dump. A glass of wine is fine.

I have a glass of wine a few nights a week ...... Usually while baby is nursing. No need to pump and dump.

If you're sober enough to drive, you're sober enough to bf/pump and feed.

You get about as much alcohol in your milk as you do in your blood stream. If you're concerned about it passing to the baby, just wait to breastfeed, but there's no reason to dump your milk. And it wouldn't take anywhere near a whole night for it to be out of your system, especially that little amount.
