I am so sick, I have a fever, a bad cough, chest hurts....I have been sick for the past three days and have not been able to sleep very well....
Now the reason I am irritated is because even though I am sick and he is not I am the one who has been up for 4 hours with the kids while he continues to sleep and yes I have tried to wake him up numerous times and he continues to say "I am getting up right now" but he is still in bed sleeping...

I would love to, but I would be the one stuck cleaning the bed and drying blankets

Well that's true. You could always have the kiddos use him as a trampoline

Bitch him out when he gets up and then make him a to do list for the rest of the day so you can get some rest. If he's going to act like a teenager give him chores like one. What a jerk. Get well soon.

Moms dont get sick days like dads/husbands do.

It sucks and a total double standard, but it is what it is.

Punch him in the kidney. That'll get him up.

Honey, you need to toss his ass out of bed and say "I'm sick, I'm going back to bed.  You are in charge until I say different.  Bye now."
