People keep calling my son "sturdy" or "solid".. are they calling him fat?

No. They're calling him sturdy and solid.
My son is sturdy and solid and not fat by any means.

Just means he is a strong little boy, not sick and frail.

It means that he's not some skinny little twig but has a solid, strong frame.

Not... fat...., just sturdy. Opposite of slim or thin.

It means they are a little bigger, not fat. My dd is sturdy, It's all muscle.
