Did you have your membrane stripped? If so how much longer after did you go into labor?

Dd has dropped. I'm only a centimeter dilated and I've been contacting since Sunday at one point for 12hrs the contractions where ever 9 mins. My Dr says it could be any day. But if not next week he'll strip my membrane.

all depends on if your body is ready, it doesnt always send you into labor.

I've never had it done but have heard it's different for everyone. My Dfs cousin had hers done and they ended up inducing her a week later.

Membranes should never be stripped.  They should wait until you go into labor on your own, unless there are very serious and imminently dangerous problems.

Yes, with 2 different pregnancies. Gave birth within 24-48 hours.
