This was a comment made to me in another thread. Stupidest thing ever.

Even staying at home I will have my own income. I will be bringing in pretty close to what I was making anyway. Between my retirement and disability and GI bill I will have my own income. Me staying home and not working is a choice we made.

I guess I should let my husband of 20 years know he should find a new place to stay since he'll be leaving me, since I'm a housewife. Man, someone should really write all these rules down for us!

But I'm keeping the big tv, dang it! ;)

That is a favorite bingo of the ones that are bitter for some reason about how others live their life.  "He will leave you for someone younger/smarter/prettier/who WORKS for a living!"

Okay. There is not another woman in the world that is more perfect for him than me. But if he is stupid enough to forget that, he does not deserve me.
