Yesterday ds(15) got very angry and was throwing his things around the room like a lunatic so dh went in there and said Mommy and daddy dont like it when you break the rules. Now you lose your toys and its time for nu nights. Ds asked why he was talking like that and he said if you act like a toddler you will be treated like one.

we took all the electronics out of his room and locked them in our closet. School was closed today so this worked out for us but ds didnt know it was closed since he has no tv or email to check anymore. When ds woke up this morning he asked why we didnt wake him for school. I told him that hes too little and immature for school.
He wasnt allowed to watch tv for the day or play with big kid toys. He did have the option of playing with his 3 yo sisters toys.... but he didnt want to. But he did join us for story time

He huffed and puffed because i wouldnt allow him to do anything himself and spoke to him like a baby.

it was a truly hilarious day

Obnoxious. I get the point, but I think it may be excessive.

That's mentally abusive, in my opinion.

Really? One day of baby talk won't harm anyone's psyche.

Quoting Anonymous: That's mentally abusive, in my opinion.
