What's the BEST hair straightening tool?

I'm so out of the loop. What's the latest and greatest with hair straightening technology? I need to buy a new flat iron, but the options are overwhelming. My hair is super thick, frizzy, and spiral curls. Like Shirley Temple on a bad hair day.

Any recommendations?

They're all the same. Hot plates are hot plates.

I use a 1 inch curling iron to straighten my hair.

Ceramic straighteners are the best.  Chi is a good brand.  But, I get just as good of results with the cheaper ones.  For your hair, I'd recommend the 3".

They are not all the same.

Get a ghd or babyliss or chi.

And get a Brazilian blowout.

I have a Babyliss PRO and it's amazing for my hair. I went through 2 different CHI's and they don't even come close to what my straightener now does.
