Job interview or something else?

So I posted my resume on Monster, among other sites, because local job searching isn't going well, and I got a call a bit ago from a company I haven't heard of before who wanted me to set up an interview with them this Friday. Now, they are conducting interviews at a new place here in my city that rents out conference rooms, which is another thing that makes me uneasy. I really need a job, but this doesn't sound like a legitimate company. What would you do? Is there a site where I can look up company's or anything?

Research the company but trust your gut.

If I couldn't find them on google, that'd be a huge red flag for me.

I would entertain the interview if no other things arise, but I think it's safe to say you can trust your own judgement and you'll know pretty soon after whether it's a legit job or not.

I always google the company before appying or interviewing at least. Google their name first. Then google their name with the word scam after.

Quoting Anonymous: What's the name of the company?

Liberty Bank. I know there's an actual bank like that in the NY area, but here in West Texas there isn't.
