How do you store your flour and sugar?

We had these metal containers, they were bad. One had a rubber seal that wouldn't stay on. The rest just got dingy and gross. I don't have much counter or cupboard space, so slim and space saving would be great. Tupperware seems to casual to be sitting on the counter or fridge.

Ceramic containers, but they don't stay on the counter. We keep them in the pantry.

I used to have them in plastic containers in the pantry, but we have less cabinet space now so I keep smaller amounts in ziplock bags.

Check for air tight containers, preferably glass, at estate and garage sales. Find interesting ones to mix and match. You can get an old book shelf and display your dry goods in a cute way in interesting containers.

normally put them in Rubbermaid containers in the cubbard. I cannot for the life of me tell you why I have recently started keeping them in the fridge.

I just leave it in the bag that it comes in and that is in another plastic bag. the flour is in my baking cupboard and the sugar is in the fridge because it likes to attract ants :-(
