My daughter had her boyfriend arrested Update

My 16 year old daughter came home crying last week. After walking through the door, she went straight to the phone. I followed her into the living room and heard her on the phone with the police. She had a huge red handprint on her cheek and her eye was swelling.

Apparentely, he wanted to have sex and she wasn't ready. So he started punching and slapping her. She wrenched her door open and ran home.

im so proud of her for not being too scared to bring him to justice! She said it's no big deal, but I don't think most 16 years would do that, would they?

UPDATE: many people have asked so I just thought I'd update for everyone.  The boy is on probation and has community service for 6 months. His mom is still avoiding me and his dad is still apologetic.

I would have had my guy friends kick his ass and let all the other girls know what a douche bag he is when I was 16, but thats just what I would have done.

That's great that she did I that but now she better be careful when he gets out he.might hit her worse unless she got a restraining order too. Which don't always help
