like, if you know you're going back to work 6weeks after the kid is born, because you 'don't like' being home with the child....why bother having a kid?  And i'm talking about women who are financially able to stay home, and not go to work out of necessity.

Things dont always work out the way we want them and some of us have to go back to work to support the children.  And some of us WANT to work and there is nothing wrong with that either.

I have no idea. There's a difference between wanting children and a career and not enjoying time with your children at all. I've known a few parents like that. They were always looking for babysitters for their free time. I don't mean once a week or less, I mean every other day or so. I just don't get it.

Someone has to work. Why is it always dad? Dad can go to work and he's not selfish. But if mom does oh em gee stone her and take her kid away! Lol honestly who cares? Do what works for your family!

I didn't go back because I didn't like being home.

I went back becaues I liked having a roof over my  head. Didn't have a choice, bills had to be paid.
