So, I moved to the south a few years ago, from the north. One of the biggest differences in southerners and is "Yankees" is the good, and cooking styles! It's something that I have struggled with when cooking for well just about anyone Down here!
Anyways, I am thinking about making a cook book that is "the Yankees guide to southern cooking".
Just wanted some input. Sounds like a good idea to me, but want some honest opinions from other people!!!

I think that's sounds totally kitschy and fun.

I'd love it if it was written with a great sense of humor :)

your grammar is terrible, I had to reread that several times to even try to understand.

So, I'm not sure how well writing a book would work out.

I agree.  I'm a NYer and now live in SE VA and I'd buy it :)

I'm not sure I understand; are you wanting to create a cookbook with southern recipes, but aimed at northerners? Or a cookbook with recipes from up north, aimed at southerners?

So basically you as a Northerner will be teaching other Northerners Southern cooking?  Or you as a Northerner will be putting your twist on Southern cooking?

I need the opposite book - a southerners guide to making bland dishes.

Ive also come down from the north and the only difference Ive noticed is that some people are great cooks and some arent, no matter where they are from.

There are tips/secrets /ingredients/methods etc unique to the south. She probably has had to learn all of that herself and is thinking other northerners might need help too
