People put way too much energy into this one day. We do a little something but honestly it's just not important enough to get upset about like some people do.

Meh, it's okay to be a little disappointed if your SO or loved ones didn't at least acknowledge Valentine's Day. No, it's not tragic but that doesn't mean someone can't be sad about something just because someone else can be MORE sad about something else.

Just because some people don't have a mother on mother's day or a father on father's day does not mean that others should not get to celebrate the day, nor does it mean that people who are hurting or depressed about Valentine's Day don't have a right to express their feelings.  Grow up.
