She was watching this documentary and she was getting all pissed off about it. I don't remember what she was watching but it didn't sound true at all. I told her not everything you watch is real and she says of course it's real. If it wasn't they couldn't make a documentary about it. LOL she is so gullible.

Lol oh yeah, that one created quite a stir when they first made it (I believe it was created by Animal Planet or the Discovery Channel but I could be wrong). They had to release a public statement admitting it was fake because people were freaking out about it!

Lol aw well technically she is correct that a "documentary" is typically nonfiction and thus based on fact; however the Mermaids show she's referring to is actually "docufiction" which is fictional material set up in the style of a documentary.
