S/o Is This Too Much For A 3 Year Old's Birthday Party? Laser Tag!? Edit Edit Edit...

I want to EDIT and say my DS picked this for his birthday party, he saw it on youtube and said that's where he wanted to go. His 5 yo cousin just had hers at a Bounce House and he was so bored. So, while I can understand why some of you say do more age friendly things for him (he's the youngest in our family, so the laser tag vests will fit on all his friends and family), I guess my son is just older at heart.

I'm throwing a Laser Tag birthday party for my little boy who will be turning 3. It also has black light mini golf.  We went yesterday and looked at it, and we're all pretty excited!  I will definitely take pictures and post after!

Anyways, back to the 'S/o,' I think it's all up to what you can handle (she was talking about taking a bus ride to Atlanta and going to Build A Bear and then doing food). We were going to do a train ride and do a birthday cake as a train, but there are no trains here, so it would have been a PIA to drive to where the train station is.  Heck, even the birthday party we are throwing is 15 minutes away and super expensive, but, tax refund came in and what better way to spend it than to give our only baby the best birthday he could possibly imagine?

You mean throwing him a party he couldn't possibly remember?

Yes, too much.

I think 3 is too young for laser tag.

I personally wouldn't take a 3yo to play laser tag.

It would be overwhelming and heartbreaking to not be ale to play properly.

Not here you don't, but it is recommened for kids over the age of 6. They do let the little kids go in as long as someoen else is wearing the vest.

Because a 3yo can't possibly wear the vest.

This.

Yeah, my kiddo is definitely too small to wear the vest, but he can hold the laser gun, and he's super excited!

Any type of kids party you can only afford with a tax refund is too much for me. A three year old will not continue to stay engaged as those around her are busy playing and competing.
