Could you say the N-word?

Like in all honesty?  Can you say the word even if it's repeating what someone else said or if it's as the more modern use of it?

I cannot.  I know it's immature, maybe it's my age (mid 30's) but the word makes me squirm.  I can't say it, even if it's to say "so and so called that guy a n-word"  I actually say n-word.

Weird?  Normal?

it baffles me that I see so many people using it now like it's socially acceptable.

Yes. I haven't said it as a slur before but I have said it while repeating a conversation before.

I only say it if it's a lyric in a song.

I can't say it. I've never been able to. I was taught to never say it because I have two biracial cousins.
