My brother called me freaking out.He just got out of court for cs. He has been ordered to pay $1326 a month for his 2 yr son.He will have visitation that equals 33 percent of the time. He only makes $3750 a month.Isn't this way beyond the limits? He said that base line cs was set within the guidelines ,but then they kept adding add ons.Childcare, health insurance ( half of the total that she pays) which isn't fair.Is this typical or did he get the short in of the stick here? Could getting an attorney get it lowered?

If it was within the state's guidelines, I don't see what he can do about it.

I don't think it's right for men to skip out on their financial obligations to their kids, but sometimes I can see why some of them run. It's like the courts have no interest in chasing the ones who run and rape the ones who are trying to do right.

They can do whatever they want.

If it was the meditator or the judge who said that is what he is to pay that it's perfectly legal. He can appeal it though.
