DH says I'm weird and paranoid. I say this is normal!

I think this is perfectly normal and acceptable.
Every night before I go to bed, whether it be 10 pm or 3am. I go into DD room, re - cover her, make sure she is not to hot/cold, give her a kiss, and whisper "mommy loves you baby"
Personally I think this is pretty normal. I have been doing it since I brought her home from the hospital. She is now almost 3.
Dh thinks she is getting to old and it is creepy to kiss and talk to her in her sleep.
What do you think? Is she to old, should I give up this routine?

Um my daughter is 5 and I still do that. I have also caught my husband watching her sleep from the doorway.  I don't find it creepy at all.

No! Absolutely not! Not to be creepy or anything, but you never know when something bad can happen, with ANYONE!

Heck, I say "I love you" to my family every time I leave the room LOL I'm weird.

I do this to my 9 month old son though, and will continue to do it, probably until he is out of my house.

I don't see the problem.

Tell him to also look up the definition of paranoid.

I ALWAYS check on her. Kiss her cheek and tell her I love her before I go to bed.
Your husband is the weird one. (Jk)
Lol

But my husband goes into her room every morning, kisses her cheek and tells her he loves her before leaving for work.

Thank you. He has just made me feel self conscious about it. I really don't want to stop it is more to comfort me than her.
