TO MOVE


ETA:

Someone was asking if the custodial parent had to get permission to move. Posted some sort of legal mumbo jumbo......

Going by what OP posted this is the answer.

The answer is YES the custodial parent has to give notice and file with the court 


The legal mumbo jumbo is posted on page 3 now

Not always..... Depends on the situation. I can move wherever I please when I want and the ex can't say a damn thing about it.

Yes, you are supposed to, if your court order says so.

Ds's bio dad has moved several times, and switched jobs more times than I can count, and he has never filed with the court or given notice to the DA as per court order. He's never gotten in trouble for it.

He also has never taken out an insurance policy on ds, or paid any medical. He is also over $6,000 in arrears with no consequence.

Our court system sucks.

When I got divorced my attorney told me I did not have to give notice to just move and then tell my ex I moved. It may vary state to state.
