Preschool
It would be really hard for a child with no classroom experience AND developmental immaturity to be successful with children two years older

Personally I would wait. My ds won't be going to PreK. He will start kindergarten when he is old enough.

I was 4 when I started K. I did fine but....emotionally, I was a year behind. I'm sure this varies among children.

I started kindergarten early. I'd always be the youngest in the grade. I did fine.

Preschool. Absolutely no way k, especially for a boy. Being that young will massively catch up.to him later.

This. My mother always says she wishes she had waited another year to send me. I'd send him to preschool.

I am doing homeschooling partly because my child wouldn't start kindergarten until 6. I think that's way too late. I don't get why everyone always says to hold kids back. They adjust well. Why don't people want to give their kids head starts? I just don't get it.
