It is still such a phobia. I would have a problem depending on the age of the kid.

If I suspected that the parents were doing anything that could transmit the virus, of course not, but since I wouldn't let my kid go to someone who would share a needle with them, breastfeed them, give them a blood transfusion, or have sex with them..why wouldn't I?

Sure. As long as they're old enough. AIDS OR not, Children Should Be Taught To Take Precautions. Like don't eat off of people, no sharing drinks and no touching other people's body fluid, etc.
