He CHEATED!

Do you believe a marriage or relationship can be saved after one partner, or both cheat?

I don't and I couldn't get back that trust.
My bil cheated in my sil and she took him back. She seems miserable but won't divorce him. They both blame her for him cheating and ran away from the issue instead of dealing with it head on. I guess it works for some but not all.

I don't believe in once a cheater always a cheater, but I do believe in you ain't getting no second chances if you ever cheat.

I will feel fucked up inside and I would never trust him again but that's just me.

I think it depends on the couple and how hard they are willing to work. I do believe a small percentages of marriages can survive.

I don't know how you restore that trust.

Quoting Kool_Aide:

Yes, but really it depends on the details and each other's commitment to fix the wrong.

For me personally, I wouldn't even attempt to fix it.

I would leave and never come back.

For some yes others no. My husband knows if he cheats we are done. My dad cheated on my mom multiple times and lied so much I wouldn't be able to stay with him.

Sometimes. It depends on the people and the situation.  I personally wouldn't be able to trust someone who cheated again and rebuilding a relationship would be very difficult for me but everyone is different.
