Throw him out the window ?!?

We got the cutest cat a couple days ago from the humane society. Tonight he is meowing a lot, woke us up a coupe times. Not a big deal to me, we have a 1 year old so I'm up a lot anyway.
My Dh flipped out though, yelled, slammed doors and said he is taking him back tomorrow because he wants to throw him out the window. All over a little meowing, I think the problem is fixable by some extra attention before we go to bed.
Am I correct in thinking this Isn't a deal breaker? I understand he is tired but he doesn't have to work tomorrow and there is always an adjustment period with any pet.

I agree. I don't want to give the cat back.

I get irritated when I don't sleep too, I'm sure your husband is just grummpy. Don't let him take the cat back, he needs some loving too!

I'll talk to him in the morning after he has slept some and hopefully he will be calmer.

Aren't you worried about the cat's safety?

I have no use for anyone who is cruel to animals. Those people are void of character.
