What age would you consider putting your daughter in cheer and tumbling?

Is 5 to early?

My DD does cheer and tumbling. She's 7 but started when she was 6. I'd have started earlier but couldn't afford it before. I'm so proud her team placed second at regionals. Didn't place at state but the competition was tough and tye did well.

No. That's a great age to start.

My DD does the poms team, I am fine with that because she is  more into the dance aspect. And she is little, so she owould be the one being thrown all around and I am a little scared about that.

There are girls as young as 3 that cheer at the cheer gym my daughter goes to. My daughter started at 6.
