literally.

Poor baby is constipated.  Any tips on convincing a 3-yr-old that, "yes, dried prunes ARE cookies!"?

I always gave my dd a little warm water with Karo Syrup in it. Works awesome.

But times have changed so I don't know what they say to do now.

P fruits help you poop. Pears, plums, peached.

You can also give him miralax...but call your dr first.

No clue my little man likes prunes. Apple Juice?

Give him half a cup of black coffee, that will make him poop.

Make sure he is drinking a lot of water and maybe an apple, it doesn't have to be prunes just high in fiber.

White grape juice or 100% whole apple juice worked with my son.

I have a 3 year old as well...when she gets backed up, I will give her a cup of juice that is half apple, half prune. Gets her going pretty well.

Try apple juice/grape juice or prune juice

DO NOT USE MIRALAX!

My dd didn't poo for nearly a week-the dr's prescribed Miralax-and it ended up with her nearly going to the ER and it had NOTHING to do with her bowels.

She suffered an allergic reaction-to the point her throat was closing up-her face was swelling-arms legs etc

and if it wasn't for my dad giving her benedryl-she would have ended up in the ER-she only took 1 dose of the miralax (which caused the biggest shitty mess I've ever seen)

Bake prunes into cookies? Or pretend to bake cookies and say the prunes are the cookies? Or bake actual cookies but hide the cookies and say the prunes are cookies? Haha. I don't think any of those ideas were helpful.
