We have an appointment for our new life ins. policy next week, and he has been smoking cigars lately even though I told him he can't because of the blood test. How long will it take to get out of his system so he doesn't fail? I'll be pissed if we have to pay $50 more/month because he decided to smoke.

Not sure. We didn't have to do any testing.
Google nicotine.

I've heard it takes about 72 hours to not show up, but I'm not sure.

That said, how often is he smoking?

I did some things say 72 hours, some say 6 months. No help.

He's been taking a drag or two about every hour-2 hours. That being said, it is cigars so he doesn't inhale. It's still in his blood though, so idk.

Is he aware of the $50 a month this could cost?

I hear it takes nicotine three days to leave your system, though, I've done zilch research to confirm.
