hi everyone I'm a newbie my name is mocha I'm a working mom (5) kids ranging in ages from 19-4 twins.
I care for children with or w/o disabilities in my In-Between Respite Child care Home located in Montgomery County, MD. Moms & Dads you're right about one thing over the years things have really changed... I've been noticing more & more that in public school and private school that donations are being requested to buy gifts for teachers. Some of the parents that brings there children to me have brought this up in PTA meeting other kind of meetings that private schools and public schools. Some schools was not aware this was taking place, some didn't change while others changed their policies. Information the administration on how you feel about this until other parents to speak up too and it might make a difference.
