My bad mommy evening.

My older two were just being absolute brats. If I was changing the baby and putting her to sleep they were dumping bottles of shampoo, body wash, and conditioner on the bathroom floor, refused to stay in their rooms for time out, I'd be dealing with one and the other would run out, I would deal with that one and the other would do it, the baby would scream and all hell broke loose.

They started this insanity at 5:30 in the morning and I literally chased them all day around the morning sickness. (5 weeks)

About 5:30 I ordered pizza and have them their melatonin. They had eaten and were in bed by 6, an hour and a half early. I just ran out of patience. The baby is sick, I'm sick, and I have no idea what got into them today.

I'm hoping a good nights sleep will mean a better day tomorrow. And I finally got all the messes they made cleaned up.

They both have a lot of trouble sleeping at night, so their specialists suggested it to help them rest. They didn't take it last night, they're on Spring break and I don't usually give it on non school nights, but today was one of their worst since they started the melatonin.

What specialist? How old are they?

I am sorry you had such a bad evening. I am always glad to say goodbye to such days

5 and 4. The oldest has ODD and SPD, the 4 year old has PDD and autism.

They're usually well behaved since we got then diagnosed and in proper therapies and schedules, today was one of their worst in a while.

5 and 4, all of the psychologists, psychiatrists, and developmental pediatrician a we work with agreed the melatonin was a good option before trying stronger medications.

These days come and go, I'm just hoping it's something simple like sleep and they're better tomorrow.

I've had days like that. I'm amazed how many moms are so quick to drug their children though

What are your kids' issues? Both of mine have multiple dx, and it's tough I know!!
