Vent! she is getting on my nerves.

About 2 weeks ago my SIL approached me and said "The WIC office is re-opening. You should re-apply." The conversation went like this:
Me: I have no use for WIC anymore.
Her: Why not?
Me: Because Michael is 2 and no longer breastfeeding.
Her: What does breastfeeding have to do with WIC?
Me: I only signed up for WIC for the lactation consultant (I wasn't making enough milk) and the free breast pump (which I ended up only using for another month before switching to formula).
Me: I don't NEED WIC. If I want a gallon of milk I can go pick it up myself.
Her: If someone offeered me a free gallon of milk each week I would take it! I don't see why you won't ask for help.

And every day after she has asked me if I am going to sign up. I tell her no, and she starts talking about how she doesn't see why I don't use it.

She told my Mom (and a few women at the daycare our kids attend) that I was acting like I was too good to ask for help. It isn't that I think I am too good for help, I just DON'T need it and I don't see the point in using it when there is someone else who could use the voutchers.

I just needed to vent because she is getting on my nerves.

Do you ever complain about bring broke or ask people for money? If not tell her to drop it.

Yeah. That is an odd thing to keep bothering someone about.

Nope, never. Actually she was at my Mom's house, a few months ago, when I announced that I was getting a raise at work.

I had(keyword had) a friend just like that. When I got pregnant she kept bugging me bout going and getting on WIC, FS, Medicaid and anything other PA related. I tried to be nice but she made the comment "it's free so use it" and I told her that unlike her, I could actually afford a pregnancy and raise my kids without mooching off the governments tit. Never heard from her again.

Yeah. That is an odd thing to keep bothering someone about.
