I just started grad school and have 3 years. Our current son is 8 years old.

We downsized so that I could return to school and moved into a 2 bedroom apartment.  We moved a year ago while finishing my prereqs, at the end of our lease we renewed it to a 2 year lease by doing this we are saving a lot on our rent.

Shortly after signing the lease, we found out I was pregnant.  I can not take hormonal birth control due to my family history of strokes and my high blood pressure.  We've been using condoms successfully for 5 years without issue. We were planning on trying  for another child when I was closer to finishing school.

I feel the age difference is too great between our son and the baby to have them share a smaller room.

Thoughts on what to do, we can have the baby stay in our room. My other thought was to move the kids to our room and use a divider and we would move to the small bedroom.

Our apartment building does not offer a 3 bedroom apartment.

Have baby in your room for a while. Then have them room together whenthe baby is out of a crib.
