This sucks. I am almost 42 weeks pregnant (I will be considered 42 weeks on Wed) well the doctor I had told me that if I didnt have my baby by wed I would be scheduled for a csection.

I in no way want a csection unless it is necessary I tried talking other options and the only other thing he would do is induce me in the morning and if I wasnt moving along quick enough he would give me a csection that night

So now I am nearly 42 weeks pregnant and looking for another doctor. I am not necessarily against induction...i dont want it but if I hit the 43 week mark I would understand however I dont just want a csection if I am not  moving fast enough for my doctor to make it out of there by the time he is off work

This just sucks.

This is something you should have discussed with your doc a long time ago. Good luck finding a new doc this late in the game.

We did discuss it and I made it very clear how I felt about it. Now he is saying that for my safety and the babies he will only do it the way he feels comfortable.

That is about as late as any doctor will let you go

No doctor is going to take you on at this point.

Why not get induced now and let things progress?

Because the one time I was induced it was absolutely horrible so if I can avoid it I will.

You have to sign off on a medical procedure.  If you really don't want a c-section, don't sign off on one.  But just be aware, they can validly be needed and necessary.
