Need something cheaper than cable or satellite...HELP!

We just cannot afford to pay 80 bucks a month for TV anymore.  What do you use and how much do you pay?  Are you satisfied?

Netflix. Won't ever get cable. We pay $14 a month for unlimited streaming and 1 disk at a time.

Netflix, a tv box type thing(I for the life of me can't remember what it's called) that we sell at my store. It's 20 bucks and picks up all the basic cable channels, you don't have to pay anything monthly

We have an antenna so TV is free and after a year we don't even miss cable any more. Big shows we want to watch like Game of Thrones we borrow from the library. We have used netflix on and off and for about $8 a onth it's worth it. We also just got amazon prime so we now can stream stuff for free on there too, but it's pretty much the same as netflix.

Netflix and Amazon prime (99/yr) with a roku (50-100/ea unit, no sub - unless you already have a compatible gaming console or 'smart' DVD/bluray player)

Yes but then the plan is $19.99 a month and you can stream on 2 devices (be they computer or tv) at once.

We have e $19.99 Netflix account and a $7.00 Hulu account. We run it through Apple TV. We also live stream ABC and Disney, but you need a cable account to do that. It's a free service when you subscribe to cable and if you have an awesome mom like mine who will allow you to use her cable information then you could do that as well.

Can you get Netflix on multiple TVs?

Quoting robibuni: Netflix. $8 a month. We won't ever go back!

I got a Roku box.  All you need is wireless internet for it to work and you can get tons of free channels on it plus access to your netflix, pandora, amazon, etc.

This. We also have Netflix.

Quoting Anonymous: Antenna. Free TV. Read books instead of TV.
