For 3 of us. mom and 2 kids.

Used to pay Blue cross blue shield:

$700/mo premium. 700x12=$8400 year.

Deductible $3000.

Doctor's visits: Not covered.

Vision Not covered

Dental Not covered.

Pregnancy Not covered.

As a result never reach deductible, never used insurance. But continued to pay for premium and doctor's fees out of pocket. We visited the peds quite often with twins so you can imagine how expensive our doctor's fees were. Bought suplemantal insurance for pregnancy for 4 years while trying to get pregnant. Cost about $120/mo. Got to use that because they billed my insurance 20k for two night in the hospital, c-section, twins!

Compared to NOW through OBAMACARE;

Kids are covered under medicaid.

I pay $236.32/mo (not using my tax credit $115/mo) premium

Deductible: $450

co-pay $20

specialist copay $50

max out of pocket something like $1450. Too excited to even remember.

YAY thanks Obama. You save me money.

For those moms who call me welfare parent, is it okay if I call you welfare parents because you send your kids to public schools and use public funding. I pay HUGE property taxes and most of it goes towards funding public school and FYI my kids are not even in public school at the moment. I can guarantee you that I pay more property taxes than most people in American. You may ask why rich American kids like mine qualify for medicaid, the answer is simple: Govt ask for personal income taxes info only. Go ahead call me welfare parent. I am proud that my property taxes is able to single handedly support the salarie of more than 3 elementary school teachers in our dist. and I am not ashamed that my kids are qualified for medicaid. By the way I plan to send them to a private school. They are already in an expensive pre-school full time.

For those people who call me a troll because I say my property taxes single handedly supports more than 3 elementary teachers. FYI I own a corporation and my corporation own apartment buildings..yes, buildings not building. Again, when I enroll for health care the system didn't ask for my corporation tax info. The reason I remain anon is because I am well known in town as an investor/property owner.

The ACA has been funded for years. Get over it. It's here, it's not going anywhere, and it's not her fault you're having issues

Glad your insurance is better for mine to suck.  I now pay higher rates, higher deductibles, and my insurance covers much less.  So glad we could help you out so my family could suffer.
