   Many people think that we should no longer tell girls that they are being bossy because it will make them afraid to be in leadership roles.

  Personally, I think that's ridiculous and will not ban the word bossy. I think that being assertive and being a delegator when needed is different than being a bossy brat.

I see what they are trying to do... But I feel if they want to use their celebrity status to get people thinking there are many causes that need more attention for them to concentrate on.

I don't think this is something gender specific. All children should be taught to be assertive and confident.

I haven't heard of this...I'm so glad my kids are older now so I don't have to worry about all the ridiculous new "rules".

i agree, bossy is not the same thing as being assertive.
