Her baby teeth aren't even loose. She's 6. Is this normal?

2 moms liked this

Happened to my DD with her bottom 2. The adult teeth were completely in before the baby teeth fell out. It is now happening with her to 2 as well. Dentist wasn't too concerned so I'm not either.

i've only had it happen with one of the kids.  i was sure that the dentist would insist on pulling the baby teeth. nope, he acted like it wasn't a big deal.

That happened to my son around that age and we let it go until it was causing problems with the adult teeth coming in correctly. The dentist was fine with letting it go. We eventually had it pulled because it was clearly causing a problem with the adult tooth coming in and now his adult tooth is twisted sideways. I assumed he would need braces anyways, but that just sealed it.

Yep, it happens.  Baby teeth get loose when the adult teeth start to push up, but if they don't push up underneath the baby teeth, then you get what your kiddo has.

It happens. The adult tooth didn't line up with the baby tooth to push it out. She needs the baby tooth pulled.
