circumcision (adhesions) help.

First off, I didn't want the circumcision. I got manipulated into it. I regret it everyday.

Okay, fast forward. Surprise, my son has adhesions. Went to the urologist and he gave us steroid cream to apply twice a day for a month. Has any had to do this? I feel like it's making it worse but it hasn't been a week yet. I also hate the idea of my one year old being on a steroid. Help.

Thanks. It's so common for circumcision to get adhesions. No one told me that or how to properly care for a circd penis. Something I thought was as simple as wiping.... nope. Ugh. I hate myself.

Don't hate yourself. There is not enough information out there. It's too common to circ. I honestly didn't ever put much thought into it. I just knew the men in my family were intact until my cousin had boys. She had her youngest circ at 2. She was the first to have her boy cut though so that seemed odd.
Then my husband is intact so it was just a no brainer. Had it not been for it being normal to me to be intact I'd have just had my son circumcised like its normal to do. We don't do everything right. You can only do your best now.
You may find great advice in the raising intact boys group. They're some very knowledgable women on there and they're very passionate about the subject. Lol. They know a lot about circumcision and possible issues. Good luck.

I honestly didn't out a lot of thought or even research into it. I made the decision the very same way many women choose to circ. you just do. I personally think it shouldn't be common practice and doctors should try to inform mothers a little more. When it's such a common thing it's easy to overlook and not know to research it. Especially with the first baby.
