So I'm having surgery next Tuesday. I got a brochure from the hospital about policies and what not. On there it said do not wear deodorant on the day of the surgery. Has anyone heard of this? I think it's weird and I'm not trying to smell like Bo lol. I'm having my tonsils and andoids taking out.

Yes you cannot wear anything, it's to prevent infection when you are open on the table
