How many of you SAHMs stash money away?

Just curious...this is for the ones that are totally dependent on DH's income.

Lately there have been a lot of "He's leaving and I have no job and no money" posts. Now while I know that no one here expects their DH to up and decide to leave one day, what would happen to you if he does?

Until child support and/or alimony kicks in, how will you manage? Do you have a secret stash of money?

No. I trust that he would still provide until alimony and child support kick in.

I have cash stashed for a rainy day. I also have a separate business account that is only mine and I have a separate savings account. DH is not a saver, he will spend every dime we have and have to wait until the next payday to try to catch back up. It's annoying so I keep my own money and don't tell him because I've made the mistake of telling him before and he spent the $175 I had saved to buy stuff for our kids for sports

Not really. Nothing to be brave about. I actually know the man I married 13 years ago.
