Who agrees? Who disagrees? My LOs will bed share when old enough (if they want) until they're starting school (if they want). I think it builds a strong sibling bond!

We are a pretty close-knit family. I think it's because we do a lot of cosleeping. They have their own rooms and often sleep alone since they are getting older but, we aren't afraid to say, "Hey! I need a snuggle," every now and then.

In fact, my kids and I took a lovely nap on the futon today. :)

I would have hated sharing a bed with any of my brothers. They always aimed for the kidneys in their sleep. Lol

My girls like to from time to time. I think any child sleeping looks adorable.

Why is it weird?

I know a few kids who, when younger, shared rooms/beds/everythings with siblings and are actually more independent and confident than some household sibling duos/trios who all had their own rooms. That's not to say that it works this way for all children, obviously, but from what I've observed, it seems to be the case.

My.older boys( 7.5 &5.5) have shared a room since the 5yo was 1. And despite having 2 beds they always ended up together. Still do over half the time.
