World's worse mother award

My ds5 had an ok breakfast (egg sandwhich) but for lunch he wanted Spaghettios. Then for dinner we had fish, rice, zucchini, which he refused to eat so I made him Chef Boyardee ravioli. I wish he'd eat a good dinner...I feel like an awful mother; he had 2 canned meals. Ugh.

I personally wouldn't have made him anything different for dinner.   It's not so much that it's canned food, but he's learning he'll get what he want if he refuses what you make.

If my kids hate dinner after they try one bite, they can have a piece of fruit and a glass of milk.  Plenty of calories and nutrients and no one is dying, lol.

Eh, people survive and thrive on less.

Just try to add new things when you can.

I wouldn't have made him anything else. My son knows that he gets what we are all having. Otherwise, he would throw a fit to get his way every time. And I refuse to allow that to happen.

Did you kill him? No? Then you aren't the worst mother in the world.

You're right. He's my baby, though. The others are teens...and he's skinny!
