Right, because teens don't ever sneak around...

My only rule is to respect yourself and your date and use common sense.

I don't have any yet. My dd is 15 (16 next month) and does not want to date yet. She said she doesn't want the drama.

Um, wow.

While I was not allowed to date until.i was 18 (and believe it or not I complied), you are bonkers. Why do they have to be on bc? Not every teenager screws like bunnies and I find it mind boggling that the general mentality is that they do.

Those sound alright. My kids are young, I only know that they wont be dating before the age of 16.

It is obvious you only have girls.

You can do that without making all these rules. When you forbid something it becomes more attractive. When I was a teen all of my friends who "weren't allowed" to date did, and lied to their parents about it. I'd rather have open lines of communication with my teens than create a situation where they're going to sneak around and lie to me.

bc is more than just the pill... there is condoms spermicideds. iud. patches. nfp where you are aware of your cycle. etc

true not all do. but all it takes is one time.
