Why is he such a player???

My son is 16 and he has a new girlfriend about every week. It is disgusting. I have told him time and time again about this but he doesn't care. His father and older brother have talked to him too. Why do guys like to play the field so much? And what should I do? I don't want him just sleeping with girls and leaving or just being a dick to them.

One word. Hormones. You can't control him but just keep preaching about birth control and ask if he wants to be a daddy. It's scary. Nowadays kids in the third grade know about sex. Makes me sick. I pray he comes to his senses. Good luck hugs and prayers.

He's young. If he was 25-30 then worry.

At that age he should be dating CASUALLY, not committed to anyone. I wouldn't want my son's steadily dating anyone at that age. I sure wouldn't call him a player for experiencing life at an age that he should be.

My sister found porn on my 9yr old nephews iPod. It's sickening. My oldest son has been with his girlfriend for 4 yrs so that's why this is so hard to understand I guess.

Yes and that's fine. I just don't want him using girls for sex and then dumping them.
