What is the dumbest thing your SO has spent money on?

My husband has decided that he is going to put money in on a bet at his company for basketball games. (Which he doesn't even watch)

He let his co-worker pick his teams...really?

He hasn't told me yet. He just told me this morning as I was dropping him off at work. He says that if he wins though he could win between $150-$2500. I'm guessing it's over $100

You mean for March Madness? We do that every year. And picking teams, well...it's luck anyway. I won 1200 dollars one year on my bracket!!!

I can't really think of anything right now.

Well, usually he is very good with money, investing, saving, etc.

But, last year he went through what I like to call his "midlife crisis" (even though he was only 28) and he spent nearly $10,000 on the most random shit. A motorcycle, guns, going out with friends. None if which we even own anymore. Ugh. I'd rather not think about it

His new interest guns. Every two years he starts a new interest. Once it was swords, then starwars, then G.I. Joe's and now guns.

He went crazy and bought a bunch of brand new tools because he planned to make his own guitar...never did. 90% of them are still in the package/box.
