He's not controlling me

Had multiple people tell me recently that my BF is controlling me. This was said because he has asked me not to go out in really bad weather while I am pregnant. He worries that I will fall and get hurt and possibly hurt the baby. I don't see that as controlling. I just see it as concern.

I doubt that's the only reason they tell you he's controlling.

If that's the only time he has ever said/done something like this I would have to agree, not controlling.

There is a difference in asking you to stay in and telling you, you are not allowed outside the house

Is that the only reason?

Why do you care?

If you post about your relationship, you're going to get opinions from all across the board.

Weather was nasty yesterday. A few friends wanted me to go out with them. I declined and said that Ty hates it when I go out when the roads are bad. That is when I was told that he is controlling me.

Quoting harpsichord: I doubt that's the only reason they tell you he's controlling.

Not the least bit controlling...he wants you and his unborn child safe.

It starts out as concern then escalates from there. He will find a reason for everything and it will sound reasonable at first then it will turn into he said no "just because". What else does he do or say that he justifies. Think about it.
