On accident? On purpose? Do you care or does it make you feel bad?

I try really hard not to. My son is starting to repeat what we say in front of him and I really don't want him saying "damnit grandma!" It does slip once in awhile, I am human, it is going to happen once in awhile..

Every day...or just about. Don't care or feel bad at all, I never cuss at.

It slips for me too...or I just lose my temper...a really bad habit I am trying to break. I normally apologize to them afterward. My parents didn't curse in front of me, so I don't know why it's so hard for me to "shut it off". My husband gets angry at me when I slip and says it makes me seem like trailer trash.

Sometimes. I don't really think swearing is that bad except that it may be offensive to other people, so a general rule of thumb in my house is to not say the "bad words" in school or anywhere else where someone might get their feelings hurt.

How old are your kids? Do they curse regularly? In front of you?

I do. There is very little censoring in my home, they know what they can and can't say. I didn't baby proof either, I just told them what they could and could not touch. Same concept.

Yes, this is true. My largest worry is that they repeat it somewhere and I know it reflects badly on me. I explain to my kids that "Mommy got upset and shouldn't have said what she said." Yet, I keep doing it. :-(

Is it at them? Around them? Do they ever repeat? How old are they?
