I have non-existent self esteem. Mainly because I have adult acne. One thing I was always told through my teen years is, "it will go away when you're in your 20's" I'm 26 almost 27 and it hasn't gone anywhere. Currently I have a huge fucking cystic zit on my god damn cheek and two on my chin. I hate my skin. I want to shut myself inside my house and never come out.

Any ideas on how to get rid of my breakouts?

With cystic acne? Or just normal acne?

Diet changes, increased water intake no caffeine. You have to work on your own self esteem

If its cystic you need to go to the dermatologist... there could be factors causing it...

Sound JUST like me. Except apparently I have rosacea too. So in addition to acne, my face is always red, my nose looks like fucking rudolph, my pores have gotten huge over the past few months. Wrinkles are starting. I just noticed that I'm getting dark circles under my eyes...ummmm where the FUCK did those come from? Oh...and I'm only 26. Why? WHY? Whyyyy?!

The best advice I was ever given for my skin was to change my pillowcase every night, huge changes within a week.

Accutain is one of the best things for cystic acne.  But, it requires a dermatologist and constant visits.  DIet and exercise can help, along with not using all those OTC acne medicines.  A mild cleanser and water based foundations.  Avoid oil based and high chemical items.
