*TRIGGER* (aka a s/o rant) *update

If a post says *possible trigger* or gives any indication that it may go south I will ALWAYS open it. Sole reason - most of the "trigger" posts are absolute horse shit. I remember someone throwing a fit about a news article post not being labeled *trigger* because attached the OP posted a pic of herself in zombie makeup. Because, you know, there are members who have lost their entire families to the horde...

Seriously save the *trigger* for actual triggers: abuse, rape, murder, miscarriage, or the like. Throwing a fit because someone posted a dog wrapped in a towel is pathetic. As a commenter said, what was the trigger? Did someone have ptsd about the time they were thrown out of a car window?

**Thank you to all you ladies who gave your two cents! Contrary to what some may have thought this was not a call-out post to one person. Frankly I do not remotely care enough to waste my time on ONE person out of the masses on here. Reading through the responses, I have to say it is really good to know I'm not the only one thinking the adult snowflake population is a bit out of control on here these days. For the few who still don't get it... I don't know what to tell ya

So you mean using *Trigger* for a spider post isn't necessary? ;)

It's just getting ridiculous in here. Next you know someone's going to be pissy and demanding a *trigger* because a post talked about steak and it triggers the nightmare she had about being sat on by a cow.

I really try not to open them. If I do, I read the first 2 lines to see if I need to exit the post.

And I was traumatized by a post without "trigger" in the title. It had a horrific image I now have burned in my memory.

My trigger is stupidity. Can we start labeling those posts?
