I am 99% sure my DD is faking her pregnancy

My DD announced a couple months ago that she was pregnant. We were all excited and happy

Well things have been weird first she was 6 weeks than it jumped to 12 and her due date was changing all the time. I figured maybe the u/s was just inaccurate. She has been going with her being 20 weeks right now.

Well now I am pretty convinced that she is faking it or lying about something. She told me she was having twins...i was pretty shocked and I told her to come show me the ultrasounds.

Well she said that they were identical but the babies sexes are a boy and a girl. One of the ultrasounds from a "previous appointment" showed one sac and one placenta. A new ultrasound picture shows one boy and one girl

I asked her what the doctor said about it and she said that HE told her they were identical and a boy girl. It was in all her paperwork also

Either the doctor has no clue what he is talking about (which I doubt) or my DD is lying. She isnt showing at all, she has changed many details, something seems off. I honestly think it is my DD lying over the doctor.

ETA: I am going to set up a 3d ultrasound and surprise her with it

Does DD have a history of mental illness? Or severe attention seeking traits ?

Call her out on it.  See if she won't be able to keep her story straight.

No...She has never done anything like this..she has never made up stories or went out of her way to lie. That iis probably why I have ignored the weird things up until now but now this just seems like such misinformation

Wow. That's a tough one. I'm assuming she wouldn't be willing to let you come to an appointment?
